Psychical Research is an interdisciplinary field that benefits from the involvement of a broad range of people with varying interests and specialisms.  The SPR's potential to fulfil its mission rests on the strength of its membership.  We welcome applications for associate membership.  If you apply, you will have immediate access to the benefits of membership, subject to ratification by the SPR Council at its next meeting.

I want the charity to treat all donations I have made since 6 April 2000, and all donations I make from the date of this declaration until I notify you otherwise as Gift Aid donations. I currently pay sufficient UK Income Tax to cover this amount and will notify the Society if my circumstances change. [Explanation: If you pay UK income tax, recent changes to the charity tax law mean that any donation from an individual to a charity can potentially qualify for Gift Aid. This would currently have the effect of increasing the value of your subscription to the Society by 28%. This is a one-off declaration,which replaces the old covenants and costs you nothing; you have already paid the tax that we would reclaim. The Inland Revenue has confirmed that, for this purpose, we can consider our subscriptions as donations.]
