'Preserving the Historical Collections of Parapsychology' conference

The foundation Het Johan Borgman Fonds (HJBF, The Netherlands), the Institute for Frontier Areas of Psychology and Mental Health (IGPP, Germany) and the Coalition for the Preservation of EHE Collections (CPEHEC, Canada) are collaborating to convene a first international meeting on the preservation of historical archives of parapsychology from 12-14 June 2014 in Utrecht, the Netherlands. The conference theme is “Preserving the Historical Collections of Parapsychology” (PHCP).
The purpose of this first international meeting is to bring together researchers, archivists, librarians and other professionals who are concerned about the large number of research collections in the fields of psychical research, parapsychology and Spiritualism that are at risk of loss. There will be fourteen invited lectures by individuals with knowledge of the state of related archives in their home countries.
The PHCP conference will be held in Utrecht (The Netherlands) from Thursday to Saturday, 12 to 14 June 2014. Anyone interested is invited to attend, but numbers are strictly limited.  Conference sessions will be conducted in English.
