\n \nWelcome to the 49th Annua l International Conference of the Society for Psyc hical Research. This year\, we are based in Stratf ord-Upon-Avon\, at the Crowne Plaza Hotel. We hope you have an enjoyable and comfortable stay. You s hould have everything you need under one roof. A s hort walk from your rooms to the lecture room and registration table\, areas to sit\, read\, chat\, relax\, gym and spa\, and lovely grounds. Comfort\ , enjoyment\, new learning\, and networking are th e key elements of this weekend.
\n \nIt is not possible t o have all abstracts submitted as part of the prog ramme\; there simply isn’t space or time within tw o days. And therefore\, it is no easy task selecti ng those abstracts that get accepted and grouping them into themes\, with meals and rest breaks\, to make the whole weekend informative\, enjoyable an d digestible.
