The SPR Council is pleased to announce that, following an election amongst the Student Members of the Society, Mrs TyLean Tuijl has been elected as the SPR Student Representative. TyLean has been duly co-opted to serve on the Council of the Society.
The SPR Council created this as an engagement role on the Council for a student member to represent the diverse interests of student members of the SPR, and students broadly, to assist the SPR to fulfil its charitable aims and objectives.
This role involves putting forward student’s perspectives to Council as a Trustee member of Council. This will assist the SPR Council to broaden and diversify the representation of the communities of interest which are currently collectively represented on the SPR Council. As a member of Council, the Student Representative will also assist the Council with the strategic running and management of the SPR as an organisation.
