During this online event, David Vernon will be discussing some of the work Patrizio has been involved in, covering areas such as Physiological Presentiment, using Hypnosis to elicit non-ordinary states of consciousness, Augmented Cognition and Theoretical developments in psi research.

David Vernon, BSc, PhD, is a Senior Lecturer in Psychology at the School of Psychology, Politics and Sociology at Canterbury Christ Church University in the UK where he currently lectures on Neuropsychology, Brain and Mind and Anomalous Cognition. He has a background in cognitive neuropsychology and has published scientific articles focusing on electroencephalographic biofeedback, creative problem solving and more recently precognition. He is currently conducting research on experimental tests of extrasensory perception such as precognition, scopaesthesia and telepathy. He is particularly interested in the field of human consciousness and specifically what the findings from psychic/parapsychological research can tell us about consciousness.

 

DR PATRIZIO TRESSOLDI - SPEAKER

Patrizio has been a Senior researcher of Psychology at the Dipartimento di Psicologia Generale of Padova University, Italy since 1993, where he is also the principal investigator of the Science of Consciousness Research Group. Patrizio has published many, many, scientific articles covering a whole host of topics under the umbrella term of ‘Exceptional Experiences’, including, but not limited to, mental interaction at distance; anticipation of random events; augmented cognition, meta-analysis of forced-choice and free-response ESP tasks, and non-ordinary states of consciousness (e.g. Spiritual and Out-of-Body experiences). Patrizio is also a Professional Member of the Parapsychological Association. During this webinar David will be discussing some of the work Patrizio has been involved in, covering areas such as Physiological Presentiment, using Hypnosis to elicit non-ordinary states of consciousness, Augmented Cognition and Theoretical developments in psi research.
