Prof. Edward Kelly at the University of Virginia has for a long time been interested in consciousness research, as has the comedian John Cleese. Ed Kelly is co-author of Irreducible Mind and Beyond Physicalism, more recently the new anthology Consciousness Unbound. This evening they will have a public conversation about this shared interest in consciousness and the related parapsychological phenomena. We can expect viewpoints based on frontier science that are far from the mainstream.
In 2020, Kelly was awarded the SPR's highest honour, the Myers Memorial Medal.
