Francisco C. Picón has started a new free Spanish-language online journal, Diario de Ciencias Psíquicas. The first issue, dated March 2017 and with a portrait of SPR founder Frederic Myers on the title page, can be found here:

The first issue contains an article from Nandor Fodor’s An Encyclopaedia of Psychic Science on medium Kate Wingfield, who featured extensively in the SPR’s Proceedings.
Discussing the project, Francisco states that:
‘It is important to revisit the texts of the past because, to quote George Santayana, "those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it." SPR researchers had successes and they discovered many things that are now forgotten, and there is the danger of having to rediscover things that have been lost in time. Another objective is to ensure that people know this information so that they are not deceived by those who take advantage of ignorance
‘I will try to include at least 52 pages in each edition, though I expect that sometimes I will add more, containing historical texts, including many by SPR researchers and also some current material. It will be heavily illustrated, with numerous photographs.
‘At present parapsychology focuses on statistics and theoretical studies, which are too formalised and technical; but there is, and always has been, a great range of fabulous physical and psychic phenomena, to which people are attracted.
‘Diario de Ciencias Psíquicas will be an interesting and entertaining publication containing serious and accurate research. Such information does not have to be boring: scientific research can be didactic, yet entertaining and interesting.’
