Alan Murdie, chair of the SPR's Spontaneous Cases Committee, has a reguar column in Fortean Times called 'Ghostwatch'. That in the February 2017 issue is devoted to links between psychical research and homosexuality, on the back of a number of recent articles in the press concerning aspects of homosexuality and the paranormal.
SPR vice-president Professor Donald West's classic Psychical Research Today (1954, 1962) is cited, as are articles in the SPR's Journal, 'Psi and Sexuality', by Michael K Macbeath (1985) and Sigmund Freud's first paper in English, which appeared in the Journal in 1911. The involvement of Radclyffe Hall and Una Lady Troubridge in the Society, including their paper in Proceedings, is briefly discussed.
