Applications are invited for the part-time role of Psi Encyclopedia Editor for the Society for Psychical Research. The main activity involves the Psi Encyclopedia, working with a small team of writers and editors to add new content and update existing entries, commissioning experts to write in-depth articles, and liaising with developers to maintain the website. This is a modestly remunerated role (currently about £9,000 p.a.) for around 30 hours per month. It requires a broad knowledge of the literature of parapsychology and psychical research, as well as full experience of writing, commissioning and editing articles; also proficiency in copy-editing, indexing and proofreading and basic website administration (the encyclopedia is in WordPress). Familiarity with publishing and image creation AI tools and software will also be an advantage.
